We're always looking to create new products taking inspiration from time proven multi-hull designs. This time it was Italy and its “pattinos” that provided inspiration.
A Reimagined Italian Classic
Born from a classic Italian design, the PATTINO is a versatile, fun, and easy to use personal watercraft.
Pattino, the Italian word for skate... these boats are so named for the sensation of 'skating' accross the water.
With its origins in the late 19th century Italy, the PATTINO evolved from a working boat to a pleasure craft for beach-going tourists.
Owned by countless celebrities at the time, such as Charlie Chaplin and Brigitte Bardot, who enjoyed the serenity of gliding silently across the water.
Today the original design is still used by Lifeguards all over Italy.
Consisting of two knifelike hulls (made of 100% recycled plastic) that cut easily through the water, along with a stable rowing platform that allows for multiple configurations, the PATTINO is a pleasure to row.
With it’s ability to row from a standing or seated position (using different muscle groups) and the ability to bring along your two or 4 legged friends, the PATTINO is ideal... a family friendly SUP!
